Shruti Sharma, a New Delhi resident, has passed the UPSC Civil Services Exam. The IAS became a St. Stephens College graduate from Delhi University. She passed the exam with History as her optional subject. She graduated with a degree in History (Hons.). University of Delhi
Sharma received a post-graduation seat at Jawaharlal Nehru University after she had completed her graduation. Sharma prepared for the Civil Services exam at Jamia Millia Islamia Residential Coaching Academy. She is a native of Uttar Pradesh’s Bijnor.
Ankita Agarwal, Gamini Singla, and Sharma are next in line for second and third places. The top four positions in this year’s rankings were all held by women. Agarwal graduated in Economics (Hons.). Agarwal graduated in Economics (Hons.) from the University of Delhi. She was second in her optional subject, Political Science and International Relations. Singla, a BTech graduate in Computer Science, was third in the rank, with Sociology as an optional subject.

UPSC has recommended 685 candidates for appointment. These include general, 73 EWS and 203 OBC candidates, as well as 105 SC, 60 ST, and 105 OBC candidates.

Shubham Kumar, a Bihari resident, was able to secure AIR 1 in 2020’s UPSC civil service exam. He is from Katihar, Bihar. He is an IIT-Bombay alumnus. Kumar holds a BTech degree in civil engineering from IIT Bombay. He was a BTech student in civil engineering at IIT-Bombay.
